Here we go go

I think my family are not as interested in my girly, artsy interests as much as I am, obviously. As I explore all my creative interests and dare to share my "art" I'll do it here. For as long as I can remember I have loved creating things. I never really had a lot of art classes or training but I LOVE doing and learning right now. I love beautiful things and creating beautiful things.
This is a piece of art I just finished a few weeks ago.

I am going to be posting pictures of all the things I am working on. I am currently getting ready for my first art show. It is Oct. 11th and I am nervous as can be, yet excited to share things that I have spent so much time and effort on. Stay tuned. More to come.

Everyone has a different view on what is beautiful, but this is my blog so you gotta put up with my views. :)

So~ stop by often and for heck sakes leave a comment. I love to hear your thoughts. It's no fun talking to yourself. There is a little thing on the bottom that says comments. You simply click on it and write what you are thinking. It's that simple :)

I hope that your creative heart is awakened and that your "sewl" is enriched by what you find here.

xoxo Emily

Another really nice canvas. Isn't it exciting to learn so many things about technique and color and mostly about ourselves and our artistic style? Good work.

Emily, I am constantly amazed by your ingenuity, by your devotion to your family, and by your insane interest in the occult!;) I can't get enough of your blog, and wonder how you have the time to do all this and still be a tremendous Mom and Wife. Good on ya.

Love your Dad
