Growing up in a some what musical family meant that at times I had to be paraded in front of people to sing and entertain. One of the songs my mom would make us sing was "The Sweetheart Tree" from the old movie The Great Race. I would sing it with my sister while my pops played the guitar. I think we even sang in in harmony.
Anyway- that song was in my mind one weekend and this is what happened. I am going to be getting my Etsy shop up and going after this Art Festival which is in two days....eeeeeeeeek, and I will be selling prints of this little cutie. I will also be putting the initials of whoever buys one in the heart like the song says, " come along with me, to the sweetheart tree, and come carve your name next to mine".
Here is a clip from the movie with the song. Why are old movies the best?

Have you kissed the "right " sweetheart?
