Can you feel it???

Spring is in the air.

Color is popping up everywhere.

Everything is coming back to life.

Things are budding and sprouting.

The air is getting warmer and sweeter.
So, naturally I need to decorate appropriately to welcome this wonderful season in.

The "tree" is getting decked out with butterflies and new blossoms.

And of course I had to make a new bunting for my mantle. And this time I am selling them too!!!

It is made with Heather Bailey and other fabulous designers fabrics. Only the best will do for my stuff ;)

It is hung on beautiful brown ribbon that just ties it all in and anchors all the bright colors.

If you are wanting one then just click here or over on my Etsy shop to the right.

I also had to share this little bunny girl. It was a commission for a little girl named Brianna up in Canada, eh :) I hear she loves her very much. If you are wanting a special Easter bunny for your little one this Easter I can do anything custom. Just ask!

I am so excited for everything that Spring brings. It's rainy and freezing as I type this out so I am even more excited for Spring to get it's little butt here officially.

Hopefully you are excited too.

xoxo Emily

Thank you!!! I love my tree too. Make one! It is super easy, just go out in some trees, cut some branches and stick em in a vase...voila. How easy :)

I LOVE to see your mantle change with the seasons! I wish I were that creative. It's all so beautiful!

I will email you in a bit. I've got to get the kids settled first as they've just come home from school.

Can't wait to hear about your trip! Though your facebook status made me feel sorry for you. I know all about children and allergic reactions. Just horrible!

Alyson- girl you are creative. I can tell. :)

Yeah- I will post pics of her allergic reaction on my family blog in a while. Poor thing. The frustrating part is not knowing what it is from. Grrrr. She has been tested and they couldn't find anything. Her eyes swelling nearly shut tells me different :(

Everything you do is so fantastic. Your kids are so lucky to have a mama who makes everything so special. You have such a gift for that. And as always, your pics are gorgeous. Such a good eye!!

Aww- thanks Dee. You are so sweet! I feel the exact same way about you. :)

Aw shucks...really? Thanks. But really, I mean it. The things you do to make seasons and holidays special are just amazing. I really wish I were better at that. When I look at the pics of those things you put together, I can actually 'feel' the love you've put into it...and I'm sure your kids do, too.

Well I really hope they feel the love. Dan thinks I am a little nuts sometimes with all my holiday decor but my mom did it and it makes things fun. Besides, I get so sick of things so quickly. I love changing things up..hehe

It really is fantastic. I just love it. I think one day I'll have to do the bunting, too. I don't have a mantle, though. I could hang it over my sink in the kitchen. That would look pretty :)

Over the sink would be beautiful. I hung one in the girls room in pinks and purples on their wall and it just looks so charming. Make one. It makes you really proud once you see it up ;)

I might just :) I need to get some pinking shears, though!

Clover- thanks. I am glad my blog was a treat :) Doing my job well then ;)

Crash- yes- our first winter..hehe so glad we could do it together.

Sandra- Thank you soooo much. I love my little bunnies too. I wish I could make a lot more.

Heather- thanks and yes, Annabelle is getting sooo big. Pig tails are the only way that her gobs of hair will stay out of her face. I can't bear to cut it

Sorry I've been such a brat and haven't emailed yet! I've been very weird about being on the internet lately. Anyway, I'll have to do it when I get back from NY>

Em - I put Sisi's bunny (the one that you made for her) as part of my Easter decor, too. I put little glittery Easter eggs hanging from her paw (hand? lol) and she looks SO pretty. I just love her. You gave me so many great Easter ideas! I'll pass one on to you! My friend Danine did this with her kids and it looks so beautiful! I have to do this craft with the kids over March break. Anyhow, here's a link to it http://crafts.kaboose.com/egg.html

Deedra said...

Oh - and Danine just used sugar and water...no need for liquid stiffener! I think you just make it so that the sugar and water are goopy.

I'm coming over from Mormon Mommy Blogs, asking for your help. I am in the running for a round trip airfare paid ticket to Connecticut, to meet a friend I became acquainted with through blogging. She is a super fun person and is holding this contest. I entered a funny story titled "Grapejuice Floaties, Now Marry Me." The person whose story receives the most votes will win a trip to meet this generous lady, whom I'm hoping to meet. The voting ends tonight-midnight. I used to be ahead but there is a story coming up from behind out of nowhere, and it's a tight race now. I would so much appreciate your help. Her blog is www.becausemomsaidso.blogspot.com and the voting is on the sidebar on the right. "Grapejuice, Floaties" Just go there and cast a vote for me, please. Thanks so much-you're awesome! ♥♥
YOUR VOTE REALLY WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Susette- I voted for you a ton of times. Hope you won :)
