Charleston South Carolina

I have wanted to go to Charleston since I was a small girl. No lie! I remember learning about the history and seeing pictures of the Spanish moss hanging from the trees & the "old world" kind of beauty that the city possesses. Then after I saw The Notebook I was done for. I just had to get there. A lot of the movie was filmed in Charleston and surrounding area.

Well, I finally got to go this last weekend!! It was fabulous and though we only spent one night, we packed a lot in. My husband and I took a "Ghosts in the Graveyard" tour at 10pm through the old city streets and cemeteries. For me it was absolutely thrilling and I have a lot of spooky graveyard shots with some strange stuff going on in the pics, but I will save those for a later post closer to Halloween.

We went to Folly Beach right before pulling out of town and it was just a wonderful getaway.
I HIGHLY recommend going if you get the chance.
Enjoy the pics.

You took some amazing shots! I thought you said your camera was acting funny. You took some beautiful photos!

I want to go to Charleston so bad!! It looks so cool. We almost moved there. I'll have to settle on at least visiting some time.

I'm glad everyone liked my pics. ;-)

Aly- my camera at night was being very strange. I kept trying to take photos in the graveyards and it wouldn't take. Or it would turn itself off. Very strange!!

Southern Gal- well don't pine for it too badly. Live through my pics ;-) It really is a special city. A vibe is there unlike I have ever experienced before.

Now that looks like a place I could live. Even if there are no casinos and palm trees.

Lovely picts!
