LET YOUR ART GUIDE YOU ~ WEEK 12 ~

All photographs are there to remind us of what we forget. In this - as in other ways - they are the opposite of paintings. Paintings record what the painter remembers. Because each one of us forgets different things, a photo more than a painting may change its meaning according to who is looking at it. ~John Berger

I just think it's important to be direct and honest with people about why you're photographing them and what you're doing. After all, you are taking some of their soul. ~Mary Ellen Mark

12 weeks...amazing!

This is fantastic that we have stuck in there this long and accomplished so much already. I promised photos of the bridal shoot and so I don't disappoint, I will show them for my art today. Taking pictures and then editing, really is an art. More than I had ever realized, and one that I thoroughly enjoy.

Here are some of the 70 shots I took and edited for this beautiful bride.

The bride and groom's theme for their wedding is "The Perfect Pair".

I was spoiled with such a beautiful bride to photograph and it was a joy taking these photos.

Here is a sneak peak of the bridal shower I also photographed.

BTW - I'm totally stealing your picture frame prop idea. Thank you! And it's funny about the balloon pics...last night as I was falling asleep, I kept envisioning a red balloon and a red lollipop in my head for the shoot...
