LET YOUR ART GUIDE YOU ~ WEEK 8 ~

What a busy week this has been. I turned 32 (eeeeeks) have had family in town and have attended every event or happening known to man it seems. Roll on Easter Sunday!

For the first time in this challenge I feel strange about my work. Usually I am very pleased with the result. Maybe I shouldn't say this but I am not this week. Should an artist admit that?
Well I just did!!
I want this journaling to be real and honest. So I will be, for some reason I am not liking the finished result this week. Could it have to do with the fact that I stayed up till 2am and got up early this morning to finish all the layers?
Yes.

Oh well, I made something that might really speak to some one else, and that is point of art right?

This piece has an Art Deco feel to me. It's growing on me ;-)

Happy Easter everyone!!

Art deco speaks to me. I think in another life I was a flapper girl.

Haven't seen them before, because of our easter trip. Actually - i like this painting. It's very decorative - maybe you yourself find it too strict, but it has a fun quality about it - it looks festive to me - and the colours are bold and beautiful!
