LET YOUR ART GUIDE YOU ~ WEEK 9 ~

9

weeks in!!!

How is everyone feeling?

Personally, I feel so glad that I have have been put under the pressure of knowing each week I need to create and stretch myself, even when at times I am so busy or so tired or I just don't have time.
I am astounded we are already in week 9. It's inspiring to see how many people come here on Thursday's to see our work ladies even if they don't comment.

This week I let go again and had no plan. I am finding this is when I feel the best about what I do. The canvas literally tells me what I need to paint it and where things should go.

So here she is...

P.S. For the record- this week I am very pleased with the outcome ;-)

Emily, this painting is so BEAUTIFUL!
And it has dots on it - and i love dots (on many of my paintings as well). Also, the combination of spring green and white with the black background looks good - congrats to this!

Very pretty! I always enjoy when the canvas, or anything we're working on speaks to us and tells us what should happen. That's usually when I like what I've done best :)

Em, I love your work. Seeing all of it this past week was just amazing. Can you believe it, I walked out of your house without stealing anything. I'm proud of myself. Of course, I hope you counted all of your pieces.
